Lidl currently offers a number of bike carriers. In the online shop there is, among other things, a holder for the trailer hitch, which offers space for two e-bikes. With a payload of up to 55 kilograms, that shouldn’t be a problem for most e-bikes – if you’re looking for an e-bike, Aldi will be offering a cheap e-mountain bike from July 4th.

The Eufab E-Bike II carrier is sold exclusively by Lidl. The manufacturer’s recommended retail price is just under 380 euros, and the baby carrier is available at discounters for 250 euros.

The mount itself weighs 15 kilograms, offers a light bar and space for the license plate. There is also a folding mechanism that allows the trunk to be opened. Bikes can be attached in no time thanks to the quick-release system – even bikes with oversized and Y-frames can be secured.
Note, however, that the maximum tire width according to the manufacturer is 2.2 inches. It might be tight on a mountain bike with wide tires. The price-performance ratio of the carrier is always good. For just under 250 euros you get a solid transport system for your bikes.
