UAE condemns Houthi attacks on civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia

The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned and denounced the systematic and deliberate attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia against civilian targets and vital economic interests in various locations in Saudi Arabia, with ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones, some of which were intercepted. and destroyed. by the Saudi defenses.

Some of these hostile attacks on oil and electricity distribution facilities caused material damage to some facilities and civilian property.

In a statement to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the United Arab Emirates stressed that the continuation of these attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia reflects its blatant defiance of the international community, efforts to end the Yemeni crisis and its disregard for all international laws. and standards, which requires a deterrent response to anything that threatens the safety, security and lives of civilians.

The ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated actions targeting vital and civilian facilities, the Kingdom’s security, energy supply and global economic stability, and support the measures and measures taken by the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia to prevent terrorist militias from targeting civilian targets.

The ministry renewed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom against these terrorist attacks, holding them in line against every threat to their security and stability, and supporting them in all measures they take to preserve their safety and that of their citizens and residents.

The statement emphasized that the security of the UAE and the security of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and that the state regards any threat or danger faced by the Kingdom as a threat to its security system and stability.
