“Together” and “Abu Dhabi Sports Authority” launch the second edition of the “Previously Good in Your Way” event

The Authority for Community Contributions “Together”, in association with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, announced the launch of the second edition of the “Before Your Way to Good” foot race, which will take place next Saturday on the island of Al Hudayriat in Abu Dhabi. , as part of its efforts to promote community integration in Abu Dhabi.
The race aims to raise awareness of social priorities in Abu Dhabi through a sporting activity that engages the community.

Proceeds from the race go to support priorities related to older people, such as one of the top social priorities identified by the Department of Community Development’s Quality of Life Survey in Abu Dhabi.

Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: “We are pleased to partner with the Community Contributions Authority, Ma’an, to organize this race, which will take place on Al Hudayriat Island, as the ideal destination for holding sports activities, events and competitions in Abu Dhabi.”

The “Previo al Bien a Tu Estilo” event is part of the “Social Investment Fund” axis of the “Ma’an” organization, where the race is designed to enhance social cohesion and encourage participation in support of social issues through sport and a healthy lifestyle.

For his part, Khalid Al Rumaithi, Director of the Resources Department of the Ma’an Community Contributions Authority, said: “We are proud to organize this event for the second consecutive year in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, where we are stakeholders adopt different themes annually that enhance our ability to support innovative initiatives and programs aimed at addressing Abu Dhabi’s social priorities.

The running event will be held “Forward Forever in Your Style” in four categories, namely: 1km category, 3km category, 5km category and 10km category, while a special track suitable for Determination people wheelchair users and the elderly will be allocated with a distance of 1 Km. Participants of all age groups can choose to move at their own pace within the path that stretches through a series of scenic areas and ends near the 321 Sports Center on Al Hudayriat Island.
