Amira Pocher and Massimo Sinató save physical contact during rehearsals for ‘Let’s Dance’.
For a few weeks, the presenter has been showing what she can do on the dance floor with the professional dancer. Last Friday (March 11) the dance couple moved with a rumba to the rhythm of the song “Havana” by Camila Cabello and received 21 points from the jury. While the two stars like to give it their all at live shows, the two rehearsals look a bit different. “In training, we can only do 80% emotionally and then 100% in the program,” Massimo explains to RTL.
So if you were wondering if the rehearsals of the ‘Let’s Dance’ contestants are as exciting as the live ones, you already have the answer. “Of course we dance normally, but now when you say on the show, we’re really face to face, that doesn’t have to be during rehearsal,” says Amira.
For one thing, you sweat a lot during training, so it’s more comfortable to keep your distance. On the other hand, they would simply like to treat each other with respect, says Massimo. “Each one has their personal life, each one has their body. If I was constantly rubbing my face against hers, it doesn’t have to be that way,” clarifies the choreographer, who danced in ‘Let’s Dance’ in 2012 with her future wife Rebecca Mir.
