The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure held its first meeting with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Bahrain, to follow up on progress in joint cooperation in land and maritime transport, after the understanding signed by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei , and the Minister of Transport and Communications of Bahrain, Kamal Mohammed, last November.
According to a press release obtained by 24 copies of it, the meeting, which was held virtually in the presence of various officials from the two ministries, reviewed the future work plan to support joint initiatives and projects, coordination and promotion of action. that enhance the objectives of the memorandum of cooperation, in terms of legislation and policies for the intelligent transport system, and forms of exchange of Experiences in the work in alliance with the private sector, autonomous transport, vehicle specifications and digital transformation of services, research and development and technical training of cadres working in this field.
Advisor to the Minister for Maritime Transport Affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Eng. Hessa Al Malik, stressed the importance of strengthening communication channels between the UAE and Bahrain, and providing a working environment based on joint coordination, in such a way that it serves the land and maritime transport system of the two countries.
He pointed out that the bilateral meetings between the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are framed within the framework of the distinguished fraternal relations, the solid historical ties between the two countries and their peoples, and the strategic directions that unite them on the paths of integration in various fields. to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership of the two countries.
