He explained that the UAE has launched many initiatives and strategies to ensure the protection of children’s rights, including the National Strategy for Motherhood and Childhood 2017-2021, the formation of the Advisory Council for Children in the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Children, as well as the establishment of the UAE Children’s Parliament on March 15, 2020, in which the Parliament is made up of 40 members from all emirates in the country, 20 men and 20 women, a number similar to the number of members of the Federal National Council, including a child of determination persons from each emirate, representing the children of all the Emirates.
