Kylian Mbappé, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, returned to the top of the table of top scorers in the French League during the match against Bordeaux (Sunday).
During the match played at the Parc des Princes, after Paris Saint-Germain, on matchday 28 of the competition, Mbappé, top scorer in the French League last season, scored the first goal of his team against Bordeaux in the 24. minute of the game, after a magical pass from the Dutchman Georginio Wijnaldum.
Mbappé raised his score with this goal to 15 goals this season, to return to the top of the French League top scorer, tied with Monaco star Wissam Ben Yedder.
Ben Yedder can once again become the top scorer in the French League if he scores against Strasbourg (Sunday) on the same day of the competition.
Rennes player Gaetan Laborde is third in the top scorers table with 14 goals, and his team faces a difficult game (Sunday) against Lyon.
Behind Laborde comes his colleague Martin Trippier with 13 goals, equaling Lille’s Jonathan David, whose team’s match in the same round (Friday) against Saint-Etienne ended in a goalless draw.
It should be noted that Kylian Mbappe was crowned the top scorer in the French league last season with 27 goals, 7 goals ahead of Wissam Ben Yedder and former Lyon player Memphis Depay.
