The state parliament debates the economic consequences of the Ukraine war
Hannover (dpa/lni) – The war in Ukraine is still at the center of the session of the Lower Saxony state parliament today. Economics Minister Bernd Althusmann (CDU) will provide information on the economic effects of the war at the Leineschloss in Hannover. His parliamentary group is also making an issue of the consequences for agriculture: Last week, the CDU came out in favor of postponing environmental protection requirements so that farms in particular can produce more grain. The opposition Greens and FDP factions want to know from the state government what educational and health services the country has in store for war refugees from Ukraine.
