MADRID, June 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –
SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia has just celebrated the VI. Announced edition that will take place again on the island of Formentera from October 7th to 9th, under the motto “Nonconformism”.
As its organizers remind, SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia is not just a festival, nor does it combine music, beer and party, but rather an experience capable of evolving and reinventing itself with each edition to get the best of itself.
There are several axes on which it will move this year, SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia: a secret poster curated by Sinsal that combines new talent with recognized artists in exclusive formats, a gastronomic proposal created by two recognized chefs with multiple Michelin Stars in cooperation with the region will host businesses and a festival of beer culture, which will integrate the workshops and tastings of “How does your beer sound?”.
And, encompassing all of this, a commitment to making a positive impact in a zero-emission event dedicated to decarbonization, the circular economy, ecosystem protection, sustainable mobility and awareness. Four elements that come together in a heartfelt tribute to the island of Formentera, the great protagonist that will continue to be explored through itineraries and activities to discover its full potential.
For this reason, SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia will be limited to only 300 people, in order to respectfully integrate and preserve the environment. Tickets can be purchased on their website from June 27 at 12:00 p.m.
One of the great goals of the event since its inception has been to protect the Posidonia Oceanica and raise awareness of the importance of taking care of the island of Formentera and its people. For this reason, an alliance has been created with the Consell de Formentera, which involves local communities throughout the process, as local institutions, facilities and suppliers of Formentera are integrated into the program.
It also supports initiatives such as the Save Posidonia Project, a pioneering plan to protect Posidonia, the seaweed responsible for the quality and distinctive color of the island’s waters.
Regarding the gastronomic offer, the celebrated chefs Pepe Solla and Diego Guerrero, in collaboration with local establishments, have designed an exclusive experience to unite the Atlantic and Mediterranean traditions in a casual format and from a sustainable perspective, a journey between Galicia and Formentera in everyone Snack Take advantage of all the resources that its gastronomy offers.
“At SON Estrella Galicia we don’t believe in perfection, but we do believe in commitment and the daily effort to improve. For this reason, with each edition we rethink everything and try to improve where necessary to achieve a festival that has a positive impact. With a non-negotiable commitment to connecting culture, art and gastronomy to the island of Formentera,” says Víctor Mantiñán, Global Head of Musical Sponsorships and Positive Impact Communication at Hijos de Rivera.
