The greens choose the first places on the list for the state elections
Hamelin (dpa/lni) – The Greens of Lower Saxony today chose the top ten places on the list for the state elections in Hamelin. Elections for other posts on the list are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the party, delegates will vote online and then the vote will be confirmed by mail.
On October 9, a new state parliament will be elected in Lower Saxony. The opposition party currently has twelve members of the state parliament. The Greens achieved their best result in a state election in Lower Saxony in 2013 with 13.7 percent. This mark must now be surpassed, as Country Manager Anne Kura said at the end of January. The leader of the group, Julia Willie Hamburg, and the former Minister of Agriculture, Christian Meyer, have already been presented as the main duo for the elections.
