According to Moncloa sources, the dialogue table between the central government and the Generalitat of Catalonia ended at noon after an hour and 45 minutes of meeting.
Next, Minister for the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, Félix Bolaños – who heads Pedro Sánchez’s executive delegation – will appear for a press conference from Moncloa scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
In addition, her counterpart in the Catalan government, Laura Vilagrà, will offer a press conference from the Blanquerna Cultural Center, the seat of the Generalitat in Madrid.
This Wednesday’s meeting began at 10am in La Moncloa with a forecast of finalizing deals and with “de-judiciary” as the underlying theme, after both governments agreed at a previous meeting, although so far they have not had explained.
The central executive delegation is headed by Minister Bolaños; the Second Vice President and Minister for Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz; the Minister for Culture and Sport, Miquel Iceta; and the Minister for Territorial Policy and Government Spokesperson, Isabel Rodríguez.
The Catalan part will be made up of the Minister of the Presidency, Laura Vilagrà; Business Secretary Roger Torrent; the one for the interior, Joan Ignasi Elena, and the one for culture, Natàlia Garriga. After the meeting Minister Bolaños will offer a press conference from Moncloa.
