The Autonomous Community of Madrid has shared with Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, its “prime interest” in being part of the world circuit in the coming years, as it represents a great opportunity for the region and the people of Madrid.
This is how it is conveyed in a letter signed by the Minister for the Presidency, Justice and Home Affairs, Enrique López, to which Europa Press had access, in which it offers, on behalf of the regional government, to host one of the Formula 1 Grands Prix ceases .
Enrique López notes in the letter that the region has developed a “great” economic and social development in the European and Spanish context in recent years, stressing that it receives a large number of tourists from all over the world and that sports competitions are always more popular become “renowned and valued” in the region.

He emphasizes that hosting the event would be “a satisfaction” for the entire region and the people of Madrid. “For this reason, this government of the Autonomous Community of Madrid has the greatest interest in making this possible.
