MADRID, June 23 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Autonomous Community of Madrid has shared with Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, its “prime interest” in being part of the world circuit in the coming years, as it represents a great opportunity for the region and the people of Madrid.

This is how it is conveyed in a letter signed by the Minister for the Presidency, Justice and Home Affairs, Enrique López, to which Europa Press had access, in which it offers, on behalf of the regional government, to host one of the Formula 1 Grands Prix ​​ceases .

Enrique López notes in the letter that the region has developed a “great” economic and social development in the European and Spanish context in recent years, stressing that it receives a large number of tourists from all over the world and that sports competitions are always more popular become “renowned and valued” in the region.

Afterwards, the Madrid City Council speaks of the fact that Madrid has “an efficient transport system, good weather, cultural, gastronomic and natural attractions” as well as “a good hotel infrastructure and a very diverse commercial offer with unique temporal freedom”.


“The most important thing is that the people of Madrid show a tremendous willingness to welcome visitors,” stresses the Madrid minister, who then stresses that he is “sure” that hosting this motor event in Madrid is “one of the most exciting sporting phenomena in the world, ours Zeit” would be a success for “all professionals, institutions and companies that are part of the circle”.

He emphasizes that hosting the event would be “a satisfaction” for the entire region and the people of Madrid. “For this reason, this government of the Autonomous Community of Madrid has the greatest interest in making this possible.
