It’s no secret that Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden is a guy who likes to go to bars and clubs to try and unwind outside of basketball. He is known to do this often in his career and there is nothing wrong with that as he would be similar to someone who goes out for a drink after work.

However, when Harden struggled like he did in Thursday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets and then goes out partying with rappers Lil Baby and Travis Scott, it may upset some.

After scoring just 11 points on 3-for-17 shooting, Harden went to a birthday party with the two rappers and got some flak for it. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith issued a warning to Harden about his parties and how Sixers fans will perceive them:

I know this city. They love you. They appreciate the fact that you’re not Ben Simmons, but make no mistake when you play like the other night, you can’t be seen partying that night like it doesn’t mean much to you because the city, I assure you. , it was a big problem for them and be careful James Harden be very, very careful

Harden will have to be able to bounce back from his poor performance as the Sixers move forward. He has a reputation for coming up short in the big games, so as the season progresses, he’ll have to calm those critics down and help Philly get into the postseason.
