Scorsese and DiCaprio’s new movie
Their latest project hasn’t even been released yet, while Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are already planning another movie together.
Leonardo DiCaprio (47) will once again appear in front of the camera for star director Martin Scorsese (79). The two regimes according to a report by the industry magazine “The Hollywood Reporter” an adaptation of the book “The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder” for Apple.
A story between heroism and mutiny
“Le Pari” tells the story of 30 castaways who landed on the coast of Brazil in January 1742. You are part of the crew of a British ship that was on a secret mission and was shipwrecked. At first they are celebrated as heroes, but about six months later three more men arrive on the Chilean coast. They claim the other group are mutineers.
It will probably be a while before the movie comes out. The book by David Grann (55) is not expected to be published until April 2023. Also the debut of “Killers of the Flower Moon”, the unreleased western drama from DiCaprio and Scorsese, not expected until next year.
We see the Hollywood star alongside colleagues such as Robert De Niro (78), Jesse Plemons (34) and Lily Gladstone (35). “Killers of the Flower Moon” is also based on a book by Grann. Scorsese and DiCaprio have previously worked together on several films, including 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street and 2010’s Shutter Island.
