Windsor (AP) – Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, 95, was in good spirits on several dates at Windsor Castle this week.

The monarch, who has repeatedly had to cancel appointments for health reasons in the last six months and recently had a coronavirus infection, is increasingly reliant on a walker.

Queen leaves the house less and less

With a beaming smile, a bag over her arm and a cane, the Queen welcomed the managing director of porcelain and enamel maker Halcyon Days and her husband on Thursday. The company has long supplied the royal family with valuable crockery and other items. The Queen actually wanted to visit the producer in 2020 for his company’s 70th anniversary, but the Queen’s visit had to be postponed due to the pandemic.

Elizabeth II leaves the house less and less. She canceled her participation in a Commonwealth Day service last week on short notice. She is now looking forward to whether she will be present at a memorial service for her husband, Prince Philip, who died almost a year ago at the age of 99, next Tuesday.
