They will be accompanied by Minister Alegría and the Government Delegate the day before the FPdGi awards ceremony
FIGUERES (GIRONA), 3 July (EUROPA PRESS) –
Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía started a meeting this Sunday afternoon in Figueres (Girona) with young people from different Autonomous Communities participating in programs run by the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi).
They meet at the Teatre-Museu Dalí with a representation of participants in three programs to nurture and connect young talent (Generation Teachers, Generation Talent, Generation Purpose) and with a representation of those involved in another FPdGi initiative, the Expedition Technology, attended Mobile World Congress (MWC).
A young woman is to explain “the network of teachers for development” through which young people help refugees from Ukraine to adapt to the Spanish education system.
In addition, at the meeting, one of the participants of the Technological Expedition to the MWC explains how this project was looking for technological and impactful solutions in four knowledge areas: EdTech (educational technology), TalentTech, Tech4Good (sustainability) and Impact Social .
AWARDS IN BARCELONA
The Princess and the Infanta are then scheduled to visit the Teatre-Museu Dalí the day before the 2022 FPdGi Awards Ceremony in Barcelona, an event that both will attend alongside the King and Queen.
Along with them are the Minister of Education and Training, Pilar Alegría; the government delegate in Catalonia, Maria Eugènia Gay; the President of the Foundation, Francisco Belil; the President of the Gala Salvador Dalí Foundation, Jordi Mercader, and the Deputy Mayor of Figueres, Pere Casellas (PSC), while the Mayoress, Agnès Lladó (ERC), declined the visit.
