The Climate Pledge calls on signatories to be carbon neutral in their businesses by 2040. Signatories commit to three areas of action: regular measurement and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions; Execute decarbonization strategies through real business changes and innovations, including efficiency gains, renewable energy, and material reduction; and neutralize the remaining emissions with additional, quantifiable, real and permanent offsets to achieve the goal of net zero.
