No-Bake Mousse Cake – That’s Why We Love It

The mousse cake lives up to its name and is creamier than almost any other. With its fluffy consistency, it is also one of the lightest types of cake – even after several slices, Blitz Cake does not feel heavy in the stomach. It is therefore perfect as a tasty snack between meals.

Recipe: You will need these ingredients

  • 500ml whipped cream
  • 500ml milk
  • 2 packages of vanilla cream pudding (no bake)
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 5 tablespoons of sugar
  • Butter cookies (quantity depends on size of baking sheet)
  • milk for soaking cookies
  • butter for greasing
  • Chocolate shavings for decoration

Preparation: how it works!

  1. In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, milk, vanilla custard powder, sugar and vanilla sugar and mix with a hand mixer until fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  2. Pour the milk into another bowl and gently dip the butter cookies into the milk, one at a time.
  3. Lightly grease a loaf pan or baking sheet and place the soaked butter cookies next to each other.
  4. Pour the prepared cream over the soaked cookies and spread evenly with a spoon or spatula. If you want, you can also layer cookies and cream to make the cake a little richer.
  5. Take the mold or baking sheet in your hand and tap the counter lightly a few times – this will release bigger air bubbles. The cream is always pleasant and frothy.
  6. Decorate the cake with chocolate shavings.
  7. Put the finished cake in the refrigerator for some time to give the cream some firmness. If you don’t have much time, you can also put the cake in the freezer for a short time.
  8. Enjoy.
