Olaf Scholz has arrived at his vacation spot in the health resort of Nesselwang. However, the Chancellor’s vacation doesn’t start until tomorrow.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz, 64, has started his summer vacation: As the “Allgäuer Zeitung” reports, the politician will spend his free time with his wife Britta Ernst in Nesselwang in the Allgäu.

Ernst had previously revealed that a two-week holiday in the Allgäu was in the works. As the newspaper “Bild” writes, the couple’s vacation home is a renovated 17th century farmhouse with 320 square meters and six rooms. While on vacation, the Chancellor is closely watched by a police container next to the vacation home and numerous cameras.

For the umpteenth time in Nesselwang
The state-approved health resort seems to appeal to Scholz and his wife: The couple decided last year to go hiking near Nesselwang. Due to the flood disaster in the Ahr Valley, the holidays had to be terminated prematurely.
According to the newspaper, Scholz has not yet arrived in relaxation mode. It is said that he is currently still working from his vacation home. According to a spokesperson, there will be no more appointments from Tuesday – but the Chancellor can still be contacted.
