Minister of Public Works of Argentina: United Arab Emirates is a global logistics center

The Minister of Productive Development of Argentina, Matias Colvas, stressed that the UAE is an important global logistics and technological center, and that there are promising opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Argentina in many sectors to advance development paths in Both countries.

On the sidelines of the Argentine delegation’s visit to the country, the Argentine Development Minister said that this visit is of great importance because it coincides with the UAE’s organization of Expo 2020 Dubai, with the participation of nearly 192 countries, and what world highlights The event offers great potential to build partnerships and enhance the prospects for cooperation between the participating countries. He highlighted the success of the UAE in organizing a unique and distinguished version of the Expo.

He noted that his country is one of the world’s leading food exporters, and that the United Arab Emirates is distinguished by its strategic location and is an important hub for world trade, and “we look forward to strengthening our cooperation in this strategic and sector vital”.

“There are also great opportunities to increase trade between the two countries and develop joint Emirati-Argentine investments,” he added. He noted that various sectors are seeking to enhance joint cooperation with the UAE, including food, mining, clean energy and green hydrogen.
