Berlin (dpa) – Many large companies are targeting a hybrid model of home office and face-to-face work after this weekend. This was the result of a survey conducted by the German Press Agency.

As of Sunday, entrepreneurs decide which corona protection measures they apply in their companies. The obligation to work from home will expire and then you will have to assess the risk of the virus yourself and adapt your hygiene concept accordingly.

Deutsche Telekom, for example, says it plans to return to the office more often. “But it is also clear that there will be no return to the old status quo. Mobile work has its advantages and is here to stay.”

Commerzbank is taking a slightly different tack. “In principle, Commerzbank employees can work up to 50 percent of their working hours from home, as long as it is compatible with their work,” the bank said. In view of the Corona situation, employees are likely to continue to work mainly from home in the coming weeks.

Pharmaceutical and crop protection group Bayer is also targeting a hybrid model of home office and face-to-face work. “In the current situation with a growing number of infections, but also skyrocketing fuel prices as a result of the war in Ukraine, it makes sense that everyone involved continues to work primarily from home for the time being,” says Bayer.
