Seven-day incidence in Lower Saxony increased slightly
Hannover/Bremen (dpa/lni) – The seven-day incidence in Lower Saxony has increased slightly. The Robert Koch Institute gave the value on Friday as 1319, the day before it was 1263.9. 15 new deaths were recorded in connection with the pandemic. The district of Grafschaft Bentheim continues to have the highest incidence with 2388.8. The Wesermarsch district has the lowest value with 723.0.
The incidence of hospitalization was 12.1. This value describes the number of new patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 people in a week. There may also be people with a positive corona test who are in hospital due to other illnesses. The use of intensive care units with Covid 19 patients was 5.6.
According to the RKI, the seven-day incidence of new infections in Bremen was 839.8 on Friday, after 781.3 on Thursday. In connection with Corona, there was no other death in the smaller federal state.
