Lana Condor and Will Forte have joined the cast of ‘Coyote vs Acme’.

Condor confirmed the news on his Instagram page. Instagram by sharing an article about the film, adding the caption: “Me. I’m happy. Me. So much. About it!”
Dave Green is set to direct the film and Sammy Burch has written the screenplay based on Looney Tunes characters and Ian Frazier’s ‘New Yorker’ magazine article ‘Coyote vs. Acme’. The film follows Wile E. Coyote who, after ACME products consistently fail him in his relentless pursuit of the Roadrunner, decides to hire a lawyer to sue the company. The case pits Wile E. and his attorney against the intimidating former ACME boss (played by Cena), but a growing friendship between the man and the cartoon fuels the pair’s determination to win.
James Gunn and Chris DeFaria are producing the film, which is slated for release in July 2023. This isn’t Cena’s first collaboration with Gunn. She previously worked with him on the HBO Max series ‘Peacemaker’ in which he plays the title character, after first playing the role in the 2021 superhero film ‘The Suicide Squad’.
