Juan José García assumes the role of General Manager of Mediabrands Ecuador

Mediabrands, the global media and marketing agency, has announced changes to its team. Juan Manuel García, who led the work in Ecuador for more than 10 years, has been promoted to Orion’s regional growth director.

“The operation of Mediabrands is part of the generation of value for our customers. In this sense, my objective in the new role will be to maximize said value through Orion, the unit that allows us to maximize efficiency for our customers. Likewise, my management will be focused on finding opportunities for growth and evolution of our product by promoting the development and updating of our talents”, says Juan Manuel Garcia.

Juan Manuel García moves into a regional role for Latin America, covering from Mexico to Brazil. “It’s a great promotion and we are proud of this new step,” said Juan José García, who will now assume the role of general manager of Mediabrands Ecuador.

Juan José emphasizes that his objective with Mediabrands Ecuador is to continue to be the number 1 agency in the advertising sector and to continue the growth of the operation. “Our way of working is global and the efficiency of our clients is our best cover letter,” he said.

Since 2018, Juan José has held the position of General Manager of Initiative, one of the agencies of the Mediabrands group, where he has stood out for his results: leading the agency to double-digit growth, being rewarded in the Effies premises as a creative and efficient agency and achieve the highest levels of employee satisfaction.

Mediabrands Ecuador is a media agency holding company that provides its services to major brands in the country. Within it are UM and Initiative, dedicated to digital media trading and strategy, with various comprehensive departments supporting Reprise, Magna, Orion, Rapport, Mediabrands Content Studio and IPG Media Lab.

In turn, Mediabrands is part of a global holding company called IPG (Interpublic Group).
