José Luis Balbín dies, legendary presenter and creator of the show “La Clave”

Historical journalist José Luis Balbín (Pravia, Asturias) died this Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. in Madrid at the age of 81, his wife Julia Mesonero confirmed on the communicator’s official Twitter account. In this tweet, the family thanked them “for the continued displays of affection and respect” they have received “all this time” and detailed that their remains will be transferred to their hometown of Pravia. The communicator is known for his work at the top of the program The key, a current affairs and debate room first broadcast on RTVE between 1976 and 1985; and later Antena 3, between 1990 and 1993.
