The Minister of Community Development, Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, launched the “National Quality of Life Questionnaire – 2022” in its second edition, in conjunction with the International Day of Happiness, which is part of the initiatives of the National Quality of Life Monitor. Life and is implemented by the National Program for Happiness and Quality of Life of the Ministry of Community Development in alliance with the Federal Authority for Competitiveness and Statistics periodically Every two years, within the framework of the identification of the quality of life of the commoners at the level of the Emirates and identifying the main factors that affect them in various vital sectors.
This occurred within the framework of a package of activities and initiatives organized by the Ministry at Expo 2020 Dubai to celebrate the International Day of Happiness, which is celebrated on March 20 each year. of the State and Supreme President of the University of the UAE, Dr. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, in addition to a number of officials and experts from within and outside the country.
International Day of Happiness activities kicked off today with the opening ceremony of the Sustainability Gateway at Expo 2020 Dubai, with the participation of Hessa Bint Issa Buhumaid, Dr. Zaki Nusseibeh, Director of Mohammed Bin University of Medicine and Health Sciences Rashid, Dr. Amer Sharif, members of the Quality of Life Council of undersecretaries of ministries, officials of government agencies and institutions, and officials in executive councils at the state level.
The activities of the celebration of the International Day of Happiness of the Ministry of Community Development at the Expo included a series of sessions and qualitative events, among which a conference by the international journalist “Steve Harvey” stands out within the “School of Life” initiative of the National Happiness and Well-being Program of the Ministry of Community Development, in addition to a series of important sessions with the participation of international officials and experts, among which the session “Quality of Life after the Corona Pandemic” stands out, the session ” Happiness and Quality of Life”, the session “Quality of Life in Communities” and the session “Quality of Life and Happiness in Workplaces”.
The questionnaire includes 122 main questions distributed in 3 levels: the developed country, the interconnected society and the quality of life of the people.
The questionnaire targets all segments of society, citizens and residents over the age of 15, with the aim of measuring the quality of life levels of community members in the UAE within 7 vital sectors: “community, health , education, economy, security, justice, security, infrastructure, housing, environment and human resources” in an effort to provide initiatives and products that consolidate a better quality of life for all members of society.
