Heralds of spring: Scilla blooms in Lindener Berg
Hanover (dpa / lni) – For plant lovers, a trip to the Lindener Berg in Hanover will be worthwhile in the coming days and weeks. Thousands of scilla (scilla) bloom bright blue in the old listed mountain graveyard. The heralds of spring in the Linden district not only delight walkers, but are also celebrated with a series of events. Readings, guided tours and art exhibitions are planned from March 20; dates are listed in the district magazine. According to the city, the 89-meter-high Lindener Berg is the second highest natural elevation in Hanover. At the entrance to the cemetery is the orchard pavilion, which was built in the late 1740s and is used as an exhibition space.
