Gold prices rose today in Yemen during trading on Thursday, March 24, 2022, amid global anticipation of US inflation data.

Gold Price Today in Yemen

The price of a gram of 24-carat gold in Yemen today rose to about 15,728 riyals ($62.85), compared with 15,484,000 riyals ($61.86) at the close of trading on Wednesday.

And the price of a gram of 18-carat gold rose today in Yemen to 11,796 riyals ($47.14), compared with 11,613 thousand riyals ($46.40) at the close of trading yesterday.

Looking at the cheap gold prices today in Yemen, the price of a gram of 14K gold was around 9175 riyals ($36.66), and the price of a gram of 12K gold was around 7864 riyals. ($31.42).

21 karat gold price today in Yemen

The price of a gram of 21-carat gold today in Yemen (the most traded on the market) rose to the level of 13,762 riyals ($54.99), compared with 13,548 thousand riyals ($54.13) at the close of yesterday Wednesday.

Gold prices moved into a tight trading range today, Thursday, as caution dominated markets due to the Russo-Ukrainian conflict and ahead of the release of US inflation data which may provide further indications on the state of monetary policy at the Federal Reserve (the Central Bank).

At 0517 GMT, gold was down 0.2% in spot trading at $1,939.93 an ounce. US gold futures fell 0.2% to $1,941.10 an ounce.

Investors continue to assess US interest rate expectations and await US jobless claims data, which is an indicator of the strength of the economy.

Gold prices approached record highs this month and then witnessed a steady decline ahead of an important US Central Bank monetary policy committee meeting last week. It has since moved into a more stable range.

Among other precious metals, silver fell 0.3% in spot transactions to $24.99 an ounce.

Platinum fell 0.6% to $1,013.57 an ounce. And palladium rose 0.6 percent to $2,527.17 an ounce.
