It will still be some time before Netflix hit “Bridgerton” returns to screens with new episodes. The short video features Luke Newton (29) and Nicola Coughlan (35), all of whom are set to shoot in the new episodes.

The third season is notably devoted to the love life of Lady Whistledown or Penelope Featherington (Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Newton), as the actress announced in mid-May. She wrote on Instagram“Like Lady Whistledown, I’ve been keeping quite a big secret for quite a while… But I can finally tell you that ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 will be the story of Colin and Penelope.”

In May, it was also announced that Hannah Dodd (27) would replace her colleague Ruby Stokes as Francesca Bridgerton. Stokes will instead appear in the Netflix series Lockwood & Co. Also Belong according to a report by the industry magazine “Variety” Actors Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips and James Phoon are also new to the cast. Francis will play the charismatic Marcus Anderson, Phillips will play the wealthy Lord Debling and Phoon will play Harry Dankworth.

It is not yet known when Netflix will air the new season. Meanwhile, the series can look forward to up to three Emmy awards this year. The production is nominated for Best Hair and Costume Design in a Drama Series with a Historical Setting. As the voice of Lady Whistledown, Julie Andrews (86) could also win one of the prizes. The 74th Emmy Awards will take place on September 12.
