- In FIFA 23 there are some revisions to FUT.
- There is a new chemistry system that eliminates negative chemistry and simplifies the system.
- There is also a brand new FUT mode.
EA has released a new trailer for FIFA 23 and this time there is information about FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) as it has changed a lot from career mode.
Probably the biggest change is the chemistry system: in FIFA 22 there are three factors that bond your players on the pitch. So if you have two players of the same nationality, same club and same league side by side, you will receive a juicy bonus.
New chemistry system
In FIFA 23, however, it is no longer relevant whether players are side by side. Chemistry factors are independent of player positions, as long as the player is standing in the intended position. For example, if you put a midfielder in the goal, you won’t get any chemistry bonus even if the factors are filled.
Additionally, it was previously the case that your players’ performance could also deteriorate when the chemistry was bad. In FIFA 23, your footballers play as shown on the cards even if there is bad chemistry.
New FUT mode
There is also a new FUT mode in the new game. In FUT Moments, you will be presented with game scenes, which you must then imitate as best you can. Depending on your performance, you will then receive rewards that you can exchange for players and packs.
Position changes were relevant in FIFA 22 to allow players to play in different positions, but FIFA 23 is more realistic on this point. Players now have only one court they are good at. FUT players can now have up to three different positions.
If you haven’t pre-ordered FIFA 23 yet, we’ll tell you not only where you can buy the different editions, but also what prices and bonuses you can expect.
