While the price of the US dollar in Morocco fell today at the Central Bank, to the level of 9.10 dirhams for purchase, and 10.57 dirhams for sale.
The price of the British pound in Morocco fell on Wednesday to the level of 11.86 dirhams for purchase and 13.79 dirhams for sale.
The price of the riyal, dirham and dinar today in Morocco
The price of the Saudi riyal against the Moroccan dirham reached, today Wednesday, in the Central Bank of Morocco, about 2.42 dirhams for purchase, and 2.81 dirhams for sale.
And the price of the United Arab Emirates dirham in Morocco today at the Central Bank was about 2.47 dirhams for buying and 2.88 dirhams for selling.
While the Kuwaiti dinar in Morocco rose today to 29.93 dirhams for purchase, and 34.78 dirhams for sale.
According to official figures, Morocco’s economy grew by 7.2% in 2021 after a contraction of 6.3% in 2020 under the effects of the pandemic.
The International Monetary Fund expects Morocco’s GDP to grow around 3% in the coming years.
In an earlier statement, the IMF said, after an assessment process, that Morocco’s economy will recover and that it welcomes the Moroccan authorities’ commitment to a new wave of structural reforms, and that Moroccan fiscal policy must be backed by a comprehensive reform of the tax system and a systematic review of public spending.
