Worse for the economy, I find it even worse that Easyjet is the national carrier of the German capital. Unthinkable in other European capitals. Hopefully at least Eurowings is jumping into the gap now.

Other European capitals are also not only by parliamentary decision but for centuries or even millennia and within their countries not net beneficiaries but net donors.

How? You just have to think European and let go of your small-state perspective. What is the advantage of having a German “home carrier”? Take a look at Switzerland, what should they say?

Hopefully at least Eurowings is jumping into the gap now.

Certainly… if it pays.

Oops, so I’m thinking about it 😉!? I’m really surprised!
How?
Do you think I think Eurowings should miss opportunities where they exist? Anything else would be unreasonable.

Let me quote myself from this discussion:

I:
“But I’m sure as soon as the staffing issue is resolved and booking requests come in, LH will offer more with EW in Berlin.”

To put it plainly: I am of the opinion that EW (subsidiary of LH) will seize the opportunity of BER, if it exists and if the personnel situation allows it.

She:
“I haven’t written anything from LH. Or do you think only LH has bonuses on winnings?”

A clear refusal (reference to bonuses I didn’t mention?) and a rejection of my statement (which may have arisen emotionally from your basic antipathy towards me – no problem).

Not out of antiphobia, more because you have insisted in recent days on discussing only the topics the article is about.
As you know, I have no problem looking beyond articles and discussing things related to the topic of the article. But to you it looked like a holy cow that had apparently just been slaughtered over Berlin.
