Shortly after its launch in Germany, Discovery+ also landed as an app on devices from the American manufacturer Roku. According to the provider, the streaming service is now available on all devices available here.
To add the Discovery+ app to your home screen in the Roku OS, you must first select it under the “Streaming Channels” menu item or call up the app via the search function. You can now place the app anywhere on your home screen using the star button on the Roku remote.
Cost-effective streaming with Roku, Discovery+ is also free
You can get Roku players with the Express model from $29.99 – if you can live without UHD picture quality. If you prefer 4K streaming and a full soundbar in combination, you can pick up the Roku Streambar, the manufacturer’s most expensive hardware, for $149.99.
