Deutsche Bank promotes the free website JobAidUkraine, which offers jobs for Ukrainian refugees. Since its inception on March 1, more than 6,000 job advertisements have been posted there every day, and 27,000 Ukrainians are looking for work there, the bank announced Monday. Entrepreneurs Marcus Diekmann and Christian Weis started the platform; Deutsche Bank helped find volunteers to improve the site.

The site provides companies with an easy way to post vacancies in English and Ukrainian, tailored to the skills of Ukrainian refugees. The application process for open positions is “simple and uncomplicated.” In addition, the website provides information for refugees and Ukrainian companies on topics such as work permits, contracts, and application procedures.

“We are overwhelmed by the response to the work platform,” explained initiator Diekmann. “In the future there will be even more refugees, that is foreseeable for everyone.” A good integration can only be successful with job prospects.

According to the information, the website is continuously developed with smart technologies. This included job recommendations for refugees and employers and video apps instead of traditional CVs.
