Crashed paraglider: No third party fault
Goslar (dpa/lni) – The paraglider that crashed near Goslar last week apparently went into cardiac arrest during flight. As the police announced on Monday, that was also the reason for the 63-year-old pilot’s accident. He was dead before impact. Therefore, the negligence of third parties can be ruled out.
Among other things, officers had examined the man’s helmet camera. The investigation, in which the prosecutor was also involved, was archived. The paraglider from the Gifhorn district fell in a forest near Goslar on Wednesday and died. Witnesses had reported the accident east of the Herzberger Pond.
