Rüsselsheim (dpa/tmn) – In May, Citroën moves the C5 X to the top of the model range at prices starting at 35,730 euros. The French celebrate the 4.81-meter-long five-seater as the new flagship and bring it in line with models like the C6, XM and even the DS. However, the new top model is no longer a classic sedan, but instead tries its hand as a cross between station wagon, coupe and SUV.
Rugged on the outside and roomy on the inside, the C5 X with a 2.79 meter wheelbase should offer plenty of room for occupants and luggage. Citroën puts the boot volume at 545 to 1,640 litres. The C5 X should also offer a lot of comfort.
Active suspension seats with massage

It can reach speeds of up to 135 km/h. With combined forces, 233 km/h is possible, while the other petrol engines are specified at 210 and 230 km/h. Citroën specifies 1.3 liters for the plug-in and 6.0 and 6.5 liters for the petrol engines (CO2: 29, 135 and 147 g/km).
