Charli XCX has announced the track list for her upcoming album ‘CRASH’.

The 29-year-old singer’s follow-up to her 2020 LP ‘How I’m Feeling Now’, due out next week, will be her collaboration with Rina Sawayama ‘Beg For You’, which will also feature the song ‘New Shapes’ with Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek.

Charli recently described her upcoming album as “hypersexualised” and explained that she wanted to “challenge herself” with the choreography in promotion of the song ‘Baby’. The singer revealed to Zane Lowe for Apple Music: “It’s probably the sexiest song I’ve ever done. It’s about sex and sexuality and having good sex and just feeling yourself. I know that’s the tone. I knew that That was the tone I wanted.” broadcast throughout the entire disc. That kind of hypersexualized girl power was what she was feeling, and ‘Baby’ was the genesis of that. I think that’s also probably why I wanted to challenge myself with the choreography for this song. which was very, very difficult, and I have a lot of respect for dancers, professional dancers, anyone who expresses her emotions through dance, it’s very difficult and challenging, but it’s worth it.”

Charli has also previously addressed critics of her latest singles, admitting that she had considered quitting music as her mental health has been deteriorating in recent months.
