Groß Meckelsen (dpa / lni) – In Groß Meckelsen in the district of Rotenburg, a barn with cows has completely burned down. Only a few of the approximately 35 animals could be saved on Sunday night, a police spokesman said on Monday. However, firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to the adjoining house. The cause of the fire is still unclear, but a technical defect is suspected. In total, there was damage for around 250,000 euros.
