Amateur archaeologist finds mortar shell in forest

Goslar (dpa / lni) – An amateur archaeologist found a mortar shell in a forest in the Goslar district on Saturday night. According to the police, the explosive ordnance disposal service has confirmed the authenticity of the grenade. The service was able to give the go-ahead early in the morning: the mortar shell’s detonator had already been removed.
