After Adele canceled her short-lived Las Vegas concert series earlier this year, she received a lot of criticism from her fans. Now, the singer is reporting back with good news: alternate dates for her shows have been set.

Fans of Adele, 34, couldn’t wait to see her at her concert series at the iconic Colosseum at Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, starting in January 2022. Countless followers of the singer had secured tickets – and were bitterly disappointed. Just 24 hours before the first scheduled show, the 34-year-old tearfully canceled the entire series.

The musician now announces the alternative dates with an emotional post – and justifies her previous decision.

Adele announces new Las Vegas dates

“I can’t say how thrilled I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows. It truly breaks my heart to have to cancel them,” Adele wrote on the official poster for her Las Vegas concert series. According to the singer’s official website, it will now run from November 18, 2022 to March 25, 2023. “But after what feels like an eternity working on the logistics of the show, I really want to deliver and knowing it can happen, I’m more excited than ever!” Adele said.

In her contribution, she also addresses the criticism she suffered due to her short-term cancellation. “I know it was a terrible decision for some of you and I will always be sorry,” Adele said. She too was looking forward to meeting her fans in an “intimate setting” each week and is now happy to be able to do so. “I will give you the best of myself. Thank you for your patience, I love you,” she finally wrote.

The tearful cancellation caused discontent

“Hi listen I’m so sorry but my show isn’t ready. We just did everything we could to be ready on time and be good enough for you guys but delivery delays and Covid just got us blown away,” the “Someone Like You” performer said Jan. 20 in the video on his Instagram channel. “I’m so sad and ashamed. I’m sorry to everyone who came,” she said in tears.

Especially on social media, the 34-year-old’s fans have clearly expressed their anger. Adele didn’t leave so cold, as she revealed to ‘BBC Radio 4’ a few weeks ago: “I really felt everyone’s disappointment.” No wonder the “Hello” singer is so happy to announce the new dates. And his fans? They seem to have forgiven him, as countless heart emojis and enthusiastic comments are gathered under his new post.
