96 coach Dabrowski retires after dispute
Hannover (dpa/lni) – Coach Christoph Dabrowski finished training for the second division soccer team Hannover 96 early on Friday. According to a report by “Sportbuzzer”, ongoing disputes within the team and a lack of frustration from a 96-year pro led to the 43-year-old’s decision. “Working like this makes no sense. It’s unbearable,” Dabrowski said, according to the report, at training camp. The club confirmed on Friday that there was “rubbing” during the session.
The table-14. After four competitive defeats in a row, they have to worry about staying in the 2nd Bundesliga. Direct relegation is unlikely, but 16th place is perilously close with a lead of just three points. In the days before, majority shareholder Martin Kind had publicly criticized the ’96 team.
