5 Emirati medals for people with determination in “Asian cycling”

The UAE cycling team for People of Determination has won 5 color medals, two gold, two silver and one bronze, at the Asian Cycling Championships currently being held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, and their competitions will continue next Monday, with the participation of 450 cyclists from 25 countries.
The five medals have been for Diab Al Muhairi, who won the gold medal in the 15 km race category “C4” with a time of 22:25.181 minutes, ahead of his teammate Salem Al-Junaibi, who won the silver medal. with a time of 24:21.912 minutes, while Ayed Al Ahbabi won the gold medal in the 15 km handbike race, category “H3”, with a time of 29:02.005 minutes, 3 minutes behind his colleague Saeed Al Dhaheri, who came in second place, and the bronze medal was achieved by Ahmed Al-Badwawi in the 15 km race category “C5”.

The United Arab Emirates cycling team will start its participation in the Asian Championship tomorrow Saturday through Mohammed Al-Mutaiwee in the individual time trial, and Hoda Hussein, player of the Sovereignty team, will participate in the individual time trial in the youth category.

Today, Friday, the team time trial competition was held, in which the UAE team did not participate, in which the Kazakhstan team achieved first place with a time of 26:48.933 minutes at an average speed of 53 .7 km per hour, while Mongolia came in second with a time of 27:54.310 minutes and Iran in third place with 28:46.576 minutes.

In the women’s competition, Uzbekistan came first with a time of 32:14.911, followed by Kazakhstan with a difference of 9 seconds and Iran in third place with a difference of two minutes.
