Once again, large peace demonstrations against Russia’s war in Ukraine are taking place in Berlin and other cities.
On Sunday afternoon (12 noon) thousands of people with the slogan “Stop the war. Peace and Solidarity for the People of Ukraine” from Alexanderplatz in Berlin to Straße des 17. Juni.
The organizers’ alliance registered 100,000 participants with the police. It is not clear how many people will actually come.

Demonstrations are also planned in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Leipzig.
The alliance of trade unions, churches, initiatives, environmental protection organizations and peace groups started a large demonstration on February 27 shortly after the Russian attack on February 24. More than a hundred thousand people took to the streets of Berlin.
