The groundbreaking partnership between Sandbox and HSBC will see the global financial services provider acquire a virtual ownership parcel in the Sandbox Metaverse, which will be developed to connect with sports and gaming enthusiasts.
The deal opens the door for other global organizations to continue to innovate on Web3 as consumer adoption requires stronger Metaverse experiences through decentralized offerings.
The virtual worlds of the Metaverse offer interactive experiences to users, and many of these platforms are based on blockchain technology.
The global metaverse market is expected to grow from $45.4 billion in 2019 to a staggering $1.5 trillion in 2030.
